Namakau Star Releases Stunning Visuals for her Ethereal single “Floating”.
Namakau Star collaborates with LordkeyyZ to bring her latest release floating to life. The music video for floating prompts Namakau Star to unlock her inner goddess. The visual journey of Floating takes her audience on a journey that is equal parts vibrant and refreshing.
Floating is a refreshing feel-good song that is layered with soulful lyricism and vibrant instrumentals. Speaking to Namakau Star on the inspiration for Floating she had this to say: “The Floating music video is very much inspired by the song itself, we were very intentional about wanting the video to tell an authentic and sincere story, part of that was also being open about what I imagined this world would be, I love nature, I love escapism I am very curious about other dimensions existing and we let that lead our creativity,”.
As the music video starts we are introduced to a young woman who has the weight of the world on her shoulders but as we enter into her dream world the pieces of her that lie dormant are awakened. Floating is performed and imagined in a visual utopia displaying ethereal themes inspired by nature and Namakau’s eclectic identity. Working with the talented directors Aviwe Apleni and Joshua Micheal to bring this beautiful message to light.

On her musical journey, this far Namakau Star has experienced her ego dying, moving to a new city, surviving a pandemic, and re-emerging as the artist we know today. The most important lesson that she has learned thus far has been to always remain true to her heart when creating, being sincere and intentional and everything else will unfold accordingly.
Knowing that her fans are her backbone and the reason she makes music, Namakau wanted to leave her fans with this message of thankfulness especially since she is independent: “My supporters mean everything to me OKAY, I’m going to ride for them and I will fight for them, they truly have carried me through their prayers, thoughts, streams, and messages. They are the light and they are my fighters. As an independent artist, my fans are the foundation of my growth.
