Suté Iwar Returns With Stunning Visuals for ‘alright, ok.’

Ready to claim his spot in the ever-expanding alte scene in Nigeria, Suté Iwar returns with a new single titled ‘alright ok’, his first under London and Johannesburg-based label Outer South.

Following the release of his album 199X last year, the Abuja-based artist makes a notable return with the visual for his latest single. The video tells a reflective story of satisfaction through a series of vignettes that allude to the state of mind of the artist. The video also borrows from Bob Dylan’s ‘Subterranean Homesick Blues’, asking the viewer to focus on the words of the song with the backdrop being his scenic city, Abuja, Nigeria.

“I want the video to allow the viewer some space for reflection, which is the state of mind I was in making the song. The song is also a celebration, so there’s parts of the video where I cut loose and I hope the joy of those moments comes across regardless of my sober delivery on the song, ’  Suté Iwar explains.

2022 will see Suté release his next full length project, titled ULTRALIGHT, via Outer South.
