Lungi Naidoo, the South African-born singer, and songwriter is set to take the music world by storm after a lengthy period away from music. Her latest single ‘Feel Good’ is off her up-and-coming EP titled Courage set to be available on all streaming platforms 24th of September 2021.

After being away from the music spotlight Lungi had this to say about her long-awaited return: “It’s been a long beautiful journey. A few uphills but overall I have been blessed to be able to share my music with everyone for over 20 years. My fans can expect an upbeat EP filled with diversity and Afrobeat/ pop sound.”

‘Feel Good’ was co-written by Ghanaian producer and artist, GuiltyBeatz who Lungi loved working with. The experience would forever live long in her memory. “Working on a track produced by GuiltyBeatz is life-changing for me. I’ve always wanted to spread my wings and collaborate with African producers and songwriters” she adds.

The song itself is a very encouraging one and Lungi said speaks about being the underdog but never giving up and also woman empowerment which is very much needed in the current climate. On the lyrics of the song, Lungi had this to say:

“This song is about me, in every way. Sometimes when you’re down you got to envision your happiness as if you are already in that space. This song is about me giving praise in advance for all the blessings I am going to receive. To own one’s Queendom and feel good about it unapologetically.”

After being in the music industry for 20 years Lungi hopes that her up-and-coming ep ‘Courage’ helps people out there who may have given up. She wants them to know that they matter and that their stories matter.
